This was my third visit to TRUCKWORLD, which is held every other year at the International Centre in Mississauga. I find the lighting, and the crowds, inside the building difficult for getting good pictures. I spent only about an hour inside the building this time and then went to look at the trucks parked outside. I think the show organizers and the Ontario Trucking Association are missing an opportunity to reach out to the broader public and display the Trucking Industry in it's best light. Thursday and Friday could be "Trade Only" but the General Public should be invited on the Saturday. Show the latest "Green Technology" that the industry employess to reduce Greenhouse gases. Hook an LCV and show how it is advantageous. Set up a Driver Simulator and let motorists see wjhat the roads look like from the Trucker's perspective. It is the General Public who decides in the long run how the politicians and bureaucrats treat the Trucking Industry.
A Volvo leased to Travelers Transportation parked beside the building. This Western Star owned by Dutch Van Noggeren is leased to Landstar Ranger. This Volvo is from CAB Expedition from Quebec.
This Volvo is leased to Mercer Transportation of Louisville KY This Cascadia from Truck-N-Roll was getting ready to load show displays. Some of the other trucks parked there. Too many trucks were moving around to safely get photos of these.
This Red and Chrome Freightliner is from Cinq-Mars Trucking of Iron Bridge Ontario.
