Day & Ross is one of Canada's biggest carriers. A subsidiary of McCains Foods, their head office is in HARTLAND NB. Their Toronto terminal is in Brampton ON.
Here is a picture of an Day & Ross International cabover tractor trailer in Etobicoke, Ontario in May 1997. Robert Archer Collection. Day & Ross Freightliner that seems pretty decked out. Day & Ross Toronto terminal is also in Brampton, as the Freightliner is outbound moving south on Highway 410. Here is a new International Eagle hauling for Day & Ross out of Brampton, Ontario. It is a rare view of a Day & Ross tractor which is not painted in the distinctive black and orange company colors.

I saw it in Oakville in February 2009.
Here is a Fastrax Peterbilt pulling a McCain Foods trailer - Mississauga September 2009 This Freightliner from the Sameday Worldwide division of Day & Ross was shot in April 2011.
This Day & Ross Volvo was heading west on Highway 401 September 2011. I miss the older orange and black piant code on D&R trucks. Here is a Freightliner Coronado from the SAMEDAY WORLDWIDE divsion of D&R. May 2012. Day & Ross partners with R&L Carriers for their US LTL service. This Day & Ross Mack city unit was at a Mississauga company in April 2012.
Here is a Kenworth W900 from the Fastrax division. May 2012. This Ford was running for the Day & Ross Dedicated Logistics division. - May 2012 Here is a Day & Ross Freightliner on Highway 401. White with decals must be the new paint code. July 2013.
Ottaway Motor Express is owned by Day & Ross. Their website says:
"Established in 1976 and based in Woodstock, Ontario Ottaway Motor Express provides logistics services to the automotive aftermarket and general freight industries." Here is an Ottaway unit in Mississauga, July 2013.
The traditional orange and black Day & Ross paint scheme is still seen on this Mack CH city tractor. - June 2015. Here is a Day and Ross straight truck - August 2017
