AUTO PARTS HAULERS - The manufacture of automotive parts is an integral part of the Ontario economy. Many trucking companies specialize in hauling the from plant to plant in a JUST-IN-TIME environment.

Verspeeten uses some owner operators. This International is hauling a "Driven to Succeed" trailer - July 2004 Verspeeten Volvo sleeper hauling a dropframe "Supervan" trailer for bulky parts.- December 2005 Effective April 1, 2006; Verspeeten Cartage took the Toronto - Michigan garbage contract over from Wilsons Red Tree. This International still wears it's Wilsons Logistics paint scheme but has been renamed. - April 2006

This Mack CH613 from TNT shows the current TNT logo. There are many examples of the older TNT logos in David Faust's collection. TNT Logistics pups. These pup trailers were sitting in the TNT Global Express and Logistics yard in Oakville Ont, taken on March 29, 2002. They show the older TNT logo. The TNT logo and scheme might start to disappear in 2007. I made sure to get a picture of a trailer at their drop yard in Mississauga 12/26/06


This Volvo-White is leased to Churchill based in Detroit Mich. This Volvo from Churchill was on the QEW in September 2012


Based in Windsor Ont; they also have a terminal in St. Catharines.
Traditionally a General Motors carrier; their trailers are now in the Ford Oakville drop lot. (2007)

iWheels Logistics is a contract autoparts hauler based in Mississauga. It has terminals in Talbotville, Oakville and Southfield Mich for Ford and a terminal serving GM in Oshawa. This Kenworth T600 is leased to iWheels. This Kenworth hauls auto parts from Ontario to US points for Rush Trucking. The picture was taken in December 2000. A Freightliner from Transfreight.

This Mack runs for C.J. RUSH Transport based in Tecumseh, Ont. Picture taken in Mississauga August 2002. CJ RUSH Transport went out of business in 2003.
Raider Canada uses this Freightliner Century to haul covers for pickup trucks from their plant in Burlington ON - March 2007 CAN-TRUCK (1993) is a GM carrier based in Oshawa. This Freightliner Century was shot in 2003 Here is a Freightliner Classic from WFS; likely an owner-operator -September 2007
A Freightliner Condo from TNT leaves the fuel island at the Husky 410 truckstop - May 2005 One World Logistics Of America hauls for Honda. This International was seen on Ontario Hwy 3 near St.Thomas. - November 2009 Here is a Freightliner from Transfreight Systems seen near Ford's Talbotville Ontario plant. - November 2009

This Kenworth T660 is leased to DRIVE LOGISTICS from Windsor ON. They primarily serve the automotive region of ON, QC, MI, OH and IN. June 2010.

Ryder trucks at a parts sequencing operation at Toyota's Cambridge Ontario plant - November 2010. This International runs for LINC, a division of Central Transport. It hauls body stampings from a plant in Milton ON to the Chrysler plant in Bramalea ON. June 2011

MOE'S TRANSPORT TRUCKING is based in Windsor ON. They haul parts for the major automotive companies. This Freightliner was eastbound on Highway 401 near Milton on Christmas Eve 2011.

Note: Moe's Transport was acquired by Verspeeten Cartage in February 2014.

Martin Transport Service based in Byron Center Mich has a Canadian Division based in Windsor ON. On the Saturday prior to Christmas 2012, Canadian MTS units were busy moving parts from the Magna plant in Milton ON.
Comprehensive Logistics is a subsidiary of the large US carrier FALCON.
They operate for a Ford Oakville parts vendor.
This Volvo is from LASER TRANSPORT INC based in WIndsor.

Ceva Logistics is a successor company to TNT in North America. They are both a carrier and a 3PL (Third Party Logistics) company.
They operate a Parts Sequencing operation for Chrysler Bramalea Assembly Plant in Brampton.

Here is a Freightliner Cascadia from CEVA Logistics hooked up and ready to leave on a Sunday afternoon in February 2014.
CEVA runs the parts centre for Chrysler Canada's Brampton Assembly Plant.

This Freightliner is leased to CEVA, one of the fleet of trucks run under their own name. COPETOWN ON, February 2014.
Here is a CEVA Freightliner Columbia that still wears ELKE Transport colours.. Oakville, September 2015. Churchill from Detroit Volvo in Mississauga July 2016 TTR Transportation, based in Oshawa ON, uses these curtainside trailers to move body panels between GM plants in Ingersoll and Oshawa Ontario.

This is a Freightliner leased to TTR with an "Equinox Shuttle" trailer. They haul unfinished bodies from the CAMI plant in Ingersoll to the GM plant in Oshawa for final assembly. That program will end in July 2017 but in November 2017 bodies for a full size pick up truck will start to be shuttled from Fort Wayne Indiana to Oshawa. Perhaps TTR will be the carrier.
