Here are some more pictures of my HDX and a brief history of how I came to own it. I am a lowbed/log hauling contractor for Weyerhaeuser (formally McMillan Bloedel) and have had my eye on this truck for years. When it became available, I jumped at the opportunity to buy it, hoping to take it in parades and truck shows to keep the legacy of McMillan Bloedel alive in the Province that McMillan Bloedel gave so much to. With the help of friends and local businesses we managed to restore it to its original condition and painted it in the M & B colors. So many people want to see the engine, but they would have to climb all over the truck to see it and I don't want that; so today I got a heck of a deal on a V1271TT Detroit Diesel engine (the same one that is in the truck) that I will restore and chrome for display along side the truck at the shows.
