Born in Vancouver BC in April 3, 1925,

Lived in the White Rock area since 1937.

Attended both White Rock Elementary and Semiahmoo High Schools. Did not excel in either, Literature or Grammar. This, my first literary attempt would no doubt amaze my old English teacher - Miss Kay Brereley.

I am presently writing another book about my experiences as a Merchant Seaman shortly after "World War Two." I will be using the same format as I did in my first book, "The Highway Was My Home." This book will contain some interesting trivia with a Historical back ground; using both Prose and Poetry I will describe a voyage from Vancouver to the U.K. and another voyage completely around the World. Possible Title: "The Siren Call of The Seal'
